WhistlePig Digital Marketing Audit and Recommendation

The Ask:

Determine how to better improve luxury rye whiskey brand WhistlePig’s sales and brand engagement.  

The Answer:

  • External scan (industry trends, competitive analysis, target market identification)
  • Digital audit and internal scan of company

The Outcome:

Based on an extensive assessment of what the company was doing right, could improve upon, and what its competitors were doing, my group and I presented WhistlePig with a 90-page document detailing recommendations for customers and distributors across:

  • Owned Media, including: SEO improvement/keywords; unique content strategy for of their each owned platforms (Website, Blog, Email, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Earned Media, including: influencer outreach programs; Reddit AMA series
  • Paid Media, including: event sponsorship; magazine advertising
  • Shared Media, including: social contests, viral video series
